At level 5, Flash Cannon evolves into Metal Beam (Rayo Metálico) if you have taken Guard at least once in that run. The gold card is always offered when both conditions are true. The evolution grants ×1.8 damage, a beam 50% thicker and longer, and a slightly shorter cooldown.
