Heat Wave level-up ladder
- Level 2: +4 projectiles
- Level 3: +40% damage
- Level 4: −25% cooldown
- Level 5: +4 projectiles and +1 pierce
At level 5, Heat Wave evolves into Eruption (Erupción) if you have taken Vigor at least once in that run. The gold card is always offered when both conditions are true. The evolution grants +6 projectiles, ×1.6 damage, and +1 pierce.

Can every Pokémon learn Heat Wave?
Only Pokémon that have the Fire type are offered Heat Wave. Dual types get both of their pools.
