- Level 3: +50% damage
- Level 4: +30% blast radius
- Level 5: +1 mine and −25% cooldown
At level 5, Toxic Spikes evolves into Gunk Shot (Lanza Mugre) if you have taken Synthesis at least once in that run. The gold card is always offered when both conditions are true. The evolution grants ×1.8 damage, +2 mines, and a bigger blast.
