Groudon does not spawn in normal waves. It waits in a distortion rift, in an arena based on one of its types (Ground). Clear the rift and you keep a ×10 ticket reward. Lose, or let the two minutes run out, and you return with 30% HP and no payout.
The run starts with Mud Shot (Disparo Lodo in the game). A mud nova. The default starter move for Ground-types.Later cards can offer any move of Ground plus every Normal move.

Incoming damage uses this softened chart. Two types multiply, then the result is clamped between ×0.30 and ×2.40. A yellow damage number in-game means the hit is above ×1.05.

Groudon is Ground. Attack type follows the move, not the Pokémon, so a Normal move such as Tackle still deals Normal damage.
Yes. A wild Groudon is shiny at 1/4096, and a gacha copy is shiny at 1/100. Defeating the wild shiny adds it to the collection.
