Slowpoke is one of the 29 partners the personality quiz can hand you on a new save. It is a Water / Psychic Pokémon from Kanto, and it starts the first run with Confusion. You can refuse the quiz result and pick any other starter.
Personality match: Placid + Patient. The quiz weights the first trait twice when it picks a partner. You can still choose Slowpoke by hand from the starter board.
Slowpoke moves in PokéSurvivor
The run starts with Confusion (Confusión in the game). A homing wave. Psyduck and Slowpoke start with it. Its damage was tuned down so it would not dominate runs.Later cards can offer any move of Water / Psychic plus every Normal move.
Incoming damage uses this softened chart. Two types multiply, then the result is clamped between ×0.30 and ×2.40. A yellow damage number in-game means the hit is above ×1.05.
